When I begin my day with a fast pace and a mind to "get things done" it really never ends well. I burn out pretty fast. When I take a "rest stop" at the very beginning of my day with God and linger a little, the day always goes better. Micah 7:7 says:
Therefore I will look to the LORD;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me.
It seems as if when I don't start my day with God a cycle of self-dependence starts and it never ends well. When I start my day with God, dependence on Him starts my day and He reminds me during morning devotional time to lean on Him to get through the day. It helps me to not get "caught up" I pray that for today, that I don't get caught up. Noah is home from school, not feeling very well. I just want to lean on God and trust Him to bring her comfort and help her to heal today. I'm praying that I to would relax today, so I can help her to relax. I pray that there would be an ease in our day and that it would be nice. God blesses us everyday and I pray that we get all our blessing out of this day.
