We had a cleaning company come in to service our home yesterday. I spent about 2 hours in the morning, tidying up so that everything would be out there way to do what they came to do. Right now the Holy Spirit comes to mind, thank you Jesus! I'm wondering if I spend time moving stuff out the way so that the Holy Spirit can do what He came to do? Here is the thing, I couldn't believe how fast I was able to clean up for the cleaning company to come and clean. I was so productive and efficient that I know it had to be the Holy Spirit breathing in my work. Because of that, the cleaning company was able to come in and do such a thorough job. It was because they didn't have to waste time moving stuff out the way so they could clean. Back to the Holy Spirit, do you realize that our productivity comes from Him. As a believer, working in your own strength is counter-productive. The reason is because as believers we live God-sized lives, we have God sized tasks, and we need God-sized results. When you are born again, you enter into a supernatural way of living. Lemme repeat that. When you are born again you enter into a supernatural life. This supernatural life cannot be lived in our own strength. So we really need to be operating under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Let me say that again: "We really need to be operating under the leadership of the Holy Spirit". See even though we have other leaders in our lives; husbands, pastors, etc. The Holy Spirit is the only leader that is with us all the time. Why do you think God made Him to live in us......because He wanted Him to lead us all the time. If this was not so, He wouldn't have made Him to live in us. So what do we do with this information. We submit our lives to the leadership of the Holy Spirit. I will tell you that when you do this, there are gonna be times where you want to work and the Holy Spirit is saying rest. There will be times when you want to rest and the Holy Spirit is saying to "work". Now I will say that the Holy Spirit will bless you with more rest and enjoyment then you would ever allow yourself to have.
I get on social media and I do my best not to be critical of anyone. It's not my place. I do find it kind of interested how personal relationships, insecurities, and hurts are expressed where the whole world can see. Social media is like this enigma that continues to spark my interest. I find myself asking "why would he/she share something so deep and personal with people who don't know them or even care?". I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing. I just find myself being very curious and intrigued about why? There is one trend I see, on social media, that sparks a bit of concern. The amount of time we spend defending ourselves and our decisions on social media. I get concerned because I realize that when we spend a "noticeable" amount of time defending ourselves publicly, it is a strong indication that their is a much bigger private battle going on within . Social media speaks volumes to me about inner battles we go through. A thou
