Stop trusting the devil!!!

There is a spirit I want to bind right now in the name of Jesus Christ.  It is the spirit that says, "This did not work out, it must not be meant to be".  This spirit keeps us from perservering and enduring.  This spirit causes you to abort what God has spoken to you.  This spirit tries to get you off track before you get to see the manifestation of what God has spoken over your life.  This spirit shows up when you are doing something that God led you to do and it doesn't work out the way it was suppose to.  Lemme say this again, this particular spirit shows up when you are doing something that God led you to do and it doesn't work out.  This spirit wants you to give up on pursuing the very thing that God led you to pursue.  I just realized that it is Satan who makes this statement to us.  It is Satan who says "This did not work out, it must not be God's plan".  The devil is a liar!

John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

You have got be able to discern the voice of God from the voice of Satan in your life.  Satan knows how to make you think his voice is God's voice.  Pray for discernment, don't trust the devil.  Trust God's voice in your life.

John 10:27

27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Eve trusted Satans words and that's why she ate the apple.  Don't put your trust in Satan.  Put your trust in God.  Stop trusting Satan.  He is a liar and the father of it.

Learn God's voice by studying His word daily.  You learn His personality through His word.  As you learn His personality, you learn how to discern His voice in your life.  When God speaks into your life, His voice is loaded with peace and certainty.  If you are ready to trust Him, when He speaks to you, peace and certainty will flood your consciousness.

Testimony - great customers, great tips, $400 refunded from my school, Financial blessings

I had to blog about this.  I couldn't keep this to myself.  Something happened a couple days ago.  Just to share a little bit of the backstory before I tell you, my husband and I had a huge financial crisis about 3 years ago.  Things have gotten better little by little but it takes grind, especially on his part.  He is a great husband and dad so he takes pleasure in providing for his family.  This is a great entry point into what I'm about to share with you.  As we were approaching the beginning of the school year there were some other expenses approaching as well.  My husband and I believe our kids should be involved in extra curricular activities.  As they get older we feel they need constructive ways to channel their energy.  And they need to get away from the constant lure of the Ipad.  This is a big challenge for today's generation and you have to be proactive, especially with your children.  Anyway,  my daughter wa...

Starting your day

When I begin my day with a fast pace and a mind to "get things done" it really never ends well.  I burn out pretty fast.  When I take a "rest stop" at the very beginning of my day with God and linger a little, the day always goes better.  Micah 7:7 says: Therefore I will look to the LORD;       I will wait for the God of my salvation;       My God will hear me.  It seems as if when I don't start my day with God a cycle of self-dependence starts and it never ends well.  When I start my day with God, dependence on Him starts my day and He reminds me during morning devotional time to lean on Him to get through the day.  It helps me to not get "caught up"  I pray that for today, that I don't get caught up.  Noah is home from school, not feeling very well.  I just want to lean on God and trust Him to bring her comfort and help her to heal today.  I'm praying that I to would...

Think before you defend yourself

I get on social media and I do my best not to be critical of anyone.  It's not my place.  I do find it kind of interested how personal relationships, insecurities, and hurts are expressed where the whole world can see.  Social media is like this enigma that continues to spark my interest.  I find myself asking "why would he/she share something so deep and personal with people who don't know them or even care?".  I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing.  I just find myself being very curious and intrigued about why? There is one trend I see, on social media, that sparks a bit of concern.  The amount of time we spend defending ourselves and our decisions on social media.  I get concerned because I realize that when we spend a "noticeable" amount of time defending ourselves publicly, it is a strong indication that their is a much bigger private battle going on within .  Social media speaks volumes to me about inner battles we go through. ...
