It's all real!

I'm so excited today!  I'm excited because the Lord is real.  His promises are real and His love is real.  Everything in the bible points to Jesus.  Jesus is the ultimate expression of God's love.  Halellujah!  I'm excited about Jesus today.  I'm excited because healing in the name of Jesus is real, peace in the name of Jesus is real, comfort in the name of Jesus is real, success and prospering in the name of Jesus is real.  He is real!  All His benefits are real.  I think today I want to talk about supernatural health and healing.  I believe that I walk in supernatural health and I believe my children come under the covering of supernatural health as well.  I define supernatural health as relying totally on Jesus Christ for my daily health and the health of my kids.  That means that God has given me some revelation on daily things I do and take to stay healthy.  That means that when something is wrong with my kids, God gives me answers on what steps to take to get them better.  It also means God inspires me on a daily basis on what is necessary to keep them healthy.  I believe God is doing this for me everyday, I believe it with all my heart.  God gives me wisdom in every area of my life.  Now in the area of healing. This is what Isaiah 53 says about Jesus:

Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed

In strongs concordance the Hebrew word used for stripes in Isaiah 53 is chabbuwrah and it says:
prop. - bound w/stripes
i.e. - (black and blue mark)bruised, hurt, etc

the concordance also says that it comes from Chabor and the concordance says
a pri. to join (lit or fig).  It also defines as fellowship with or join self together.

Chabor is a primary root word in Hebrew and I believe stripes as defined in Isaiah 53, in the Hebrew means that Jesus joined himself together with our hurts, bruises, diseases, illnesses, everything that causes harm to us; and took it onto Himself.  With that joining together with all of our hurts and pains, diseases and illnesses we are healed.

Starting your day

When I begin my day with a fast pace and a mind to "get things done" it really never ends well.  I burn out pretty fast.  When I take a "rest stop" at the very beginning of my day with God and linger a little, the day always goes better.  Micah 7:7 says: Therefore I will look to the LORD;       I will wait for the God of my salvation;       My God will hear me.  It seems as if when I don't start my day with God a cycle of self-dependence starts and it never ends well.  When I start my day with God, dependence on Him starts my day and He reminds me during morning devotional time to lean on Him to get through the day.  It helps me to not get "caught up"  I pray that for today, that I don't get caught up.  Noah is home from school, not feeling very well.  I just want to lean on God and trust Him to bring her comfort and help her to heal today.  I'm praying that I to would...

Testimony - great customers, great tips, $400 refunded from my school, Financial blessings

I had to blog about this.  I couldn't keep this to myself.  Something happened a couple days ago.  Just to share a little bit of the backstory before I tell you, my husband and I had a huge financial crisis about 3 years ago.  Things have gotten better little by little but it takes grind, especially on his part.  He is a great husband and dad so he takes pleasure in providing for his family.  This is a great entry point into what I'm about to share with you.  As we were approaching the beginning of the school year there were some other expenses approaching as well.  My husband and I believe our kids should be involved in extra curricular activities.  As they get older we feel they need constructive ways to channel their energy.  And they need to get away from the constant lure of the Ipad.  This is a big challenge for today's generation and you have to be proactive, especially with your children.  Anyway,  my daughter wa...

Think before you defend yourself

I get on social media and I do my best not to be critical of anyone.  It's not my place.  I do find it kind of interested how personal relationships, insecurities, and hurts are expressed where the whole world can see.  Social media is like this enigma that continues to spark my interest.  I find myself asking "why would he/she share something so deep and personal with people who don't know them or even care?".  I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing.  I just find myself being very curious and intrigued about why? There is one trend I see, on social media, that sparks a bit of concern.  The amount of time we spend defending ourselves and our decisions on social media.  I get concerned because I realize that when we spend a "noticeable" amount of time defending ourselves publicly, it is a strong indication that their is a much bigger private battle going on within .  Social media speaks volumes to me about inner battles we go through. ...
