Before you were born

Genesis 1:26 - 30  & Genesis 2:7

I am writing on the topic: "What did God whisper to you before you were born?"  Look at what God says:

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all[a] the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.

I want you to keep in mind that God had not actually formed the man yet.  That did not happen until Genesis 2:7:  Look Below:

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being

So, in Genesis 1:26-30 God created male and female and he spoke to them.  He prospered them, gave them authority, and gave them provision.  He spoke all this to man and the women before they actually took on the form of human flesh.  This was all in God's mind before it actually existed.  He spoke it all before He did it.

Look at what God says to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

All of this really got my attention last night and today.  Because before you and I were born, God spoke into our lives exactly what we were going to be, what we were going to do, and how he has provided for us.  Do you know that everything that will be has already been in the eyes of God.  Do you know that all the questions you have for God have already been answered before you were born.  Do you realize that while you are praying to walk in the purpose God has ordained for your life, God has already seen you fulfill your purpose.  These things have already been deposited.  God has also already made provision for you, that was also deposited in you before you were born.  It is all there!!!

Even Jesus's purpose on this earth was fulfilled before He was born and took on human flesh.  Look at Revelation 13:8 (NIV)
8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.[a]

It says here the Jesus was slain from the creation of the world.  What does that say to you about the unfolding of your life.  If you look back at the first versus I mentioned in Genesis, you will notice that God did not only speak to the Son and Holy Spirit about us but then God repeated Himself when He spoke to the man and woman about the dominion they would have.  All this happened before their physical body was formed.  What does that say to you about your life???Stop searching for what's already been ordained for you from the foundation of the earth and start talking to God.  Stop searching high and low in this world for your answers and start talking to God.  When you walk with Him, you will walk in your destiny and you will do it with authority and grace.  Before you were formed, God said ".................is what you are going to be,......................is what you are going to do............................is what I have provided for you".  God can fill in these blanks for you.  The world cannot.

Keep in mind, that God is not the only one who sees and knows these things.  If you see in the first versus I mentioned in Genesis, there is an "us".  God spoke with others about these things.  Those others are Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  So Jesus and the Holy Spirit both know everything that God knows.

Think before you defend yourself

I get on social media and I do my best not to be critical of anyone.  It's not my place.  I do find it kind of interested how personal relationships, insecurities, and hurts are expressed where the whole world can see.  Social media is like this enigma that continues to spark my interest.  I find myself asking "why would he/she share something so deep and personal with people who don't know them or even care?".  I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing.  I just find myself being very curious and intrigued about why? There is one trend I see, on social media, that sparks a bit of concern.  The amount of time we spend defending ourselves and our decisions on social media.  I get concerned because I realize that when we spend a "noticeable" amount of time defending ourselves publicly, it is a strong indication that their is a much bigger private battle going on within .  Social media speaks volumes to me about inner battles we go through. A thou

When we are troubled................

Have you have let the challenges you face, become a distraction for you?  I have! Matter-a-fact, I'm going through it now.  I hate it when I do that, because when you begin to let your heart become troubled about something, it's not long before fear begins to creeps in as well.    Then I feel like it gets hard to focus on the other things you need to focus on, and it's hard to enjoy the blessings that you have.  There is such a ripple effect when you let challenges trouble you.  It leads to distraction, then, fear, then it starts to rob you of your peace, your joy and if you let it, it can completely consume you.  God tells us to guard our hearts with all diligence.  There are 2 things in the bible that God tells us to guard:  Our hearts and our mouths.  We have to watch what we let come into our hearts and we have to watch what we allow to proceed from our mouths.  Even though we don't ignore challenges, it's important we don't let them take up residence in our

The best fight ever...............

Marriage.................................It's not easy.  It is a colorful creation full of ups and downs, highs and lows.  And some desperate times.  It cannot be done without God. It is His invention and only He can navigate you through it.  But marriage is worth fighting for.  You don't always have the energy to fight anymore and that's ok.  It's ok to not be ok.  It's ok to not be ok with your marriage.  It's ok to not be ok with your life.  Just know that not being ok, with your marriage, doesn't mean that it's over.  Not being ok, with your life, doesn't mean that its over.   In the last couple weeks I have struggled with temptations of epic magnitude.  God has seen me in my struggle.  Struggling with my emotions.  Struggling with my desires.  Struggling to stay faithful.  He saw me. He didn't look at me and say "I can't believe you are thinking this".  He didn't look at me ans say "I can't believe you are
