My children, my disciples, pointing them to Christ . Translating this into everyday life means pouring yourself out all day everyday. Children place a demand on you like nothing else. Creating a place of refuge and love in your home. A place where they will grow, feel treasured, loved and get all they need to fulfill they greates potential in The Lord. Teaching contentment. So many amazing things to teach and experience with our children as they grow. Growing as a family, ups and downs. Yes I am building a home. A wise woman builds her house, but the foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.
When I begin my day with a fast pace and a mind to "get things done" it really never ends well. I burn out pretty fast. When I take a "rest stop" at the very beginning of my day with God and linger a little, the day always goes better. Micah 7:7 says: Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me. It seems as if when I don't start my day with God a cycle of self-dependence starts and it never ends well. When I start my day with God, dependence on Him starts my day and He reminds me during morning devotional time to lean on Him to get through the day. It helps me to not get "caught up" I pray that for today, that I don't get caught up. Noah is home from school, not feeling very well.
