I believe people use many different words sometimes to describe the same feelings. There are times when I believe God is speaking to me, because I keep hearing the same statement resonate in my heart and mind. I don't know if anybody else, reading this, has ever had a thought, a statement, or an idea (concept), just settle on their hearts. We don't always know what to do when this happens. We don't normally accept it right away, right? We kind of brush it off the first time it comes up, but it just keeps coming up. My question to you is "What if we believe that it's God speaking to us and we believe what He is saying?".
Sometimes I get nervous when it comes to my clients. I get nervous because "What if I can't deliver the result that they want?". As I thought it over this week, this is what I heard in my heart: "They are not paying you because of some result they are expecting you to deliver. They are paying you because I commanded the blessing on you" God doesn't command people in that way, but He commands blessings. Many times the blessings travel through the hands of others, but it's God who commands the blessing.
Deuteronomy 28:8
8 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
So, what if I believe God is saying this to me and I believe what He said. If I believe it then I won't stress out anymore about the results. That sounds weird right? As a business person we are suppose to be concerned about the results. But that's not God's way. Honestly, God just wants you to be a willing vessel and through that, He will produce the results. That should take the pressure off ourselves. In every area of our lives, God just wants us to be a willing vessel and He will produce the right results. The results that are right in His eyes. Let your hands be willing, let your feet be willing, let your mouth be willing. That's it. In a sense we have to set our hands loose to be used, we have to set our feet loose to be used, we have to set our mouths free to be used. Be used by God. Don't withhold your hand. If you have strength in your body and you are willing, set it free to be used. If you're not willing, pray for the strength and the willingness and God will supply.
