Angels are watching

Get ALL the benefits of marriage.  There are so many benefits that come with being married.  There are so many benefits with taking your husband's last name.  My husband and I are together because God brought us together to become husband and wife.  I love my husband dearly, but God showed me when I got married to take advantage of all the benefits of being married.  There are legal and spiritual benefits, when you choose to practice marriage according to how God has designed it to work.  That means the husband is the head.  When you submit and come under your husband's authority, not only do you have legal rights that come into play but there are also spiritual rights that become yours.  1 Corinthians 11 (NLT) 7   A man should not wear anything on his head when worshiping, for man is made in God’s image and reflects God’s glory. And woman reflects man’s glory. 8  For the first man didn’t come from woman, but the first woman came from man. 9  And man was not made for wom

Where is God pushing you????

There is nothing like a fresh revelation from God and I believe God wants to give that to us everyday.  Often times we don't prioritize seeking Him out for His daily manna of fresh revelation.  When you start doing it, you'll find that He will also pour into you at random times of the day.  It is a pleasant surprise!  This is what He did for me last night.  I was sitting there thinking about how difficult it is to keep my house in order and that no matter what I try, it doesn't seem to produce the results I want.  In my spirit I heard "If it's not the ordained time for your house to be in order than it's not going to happen" then I heard "If I'm not pushing in that area then you shouldn't be pushing either.  Focus on the areas where I am pushing".  God basically told me, "Push where I'm pushing".  Then I realized He was talking about Psalm 127:1: Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the

Don't back away, come closer

I have been talking about "The Wall".  You know that wall you keep hitting in your life.  You are trying to move forward in areas and you make a little progress and get a little leverage and you hit this wall within yourself.  Immediately we want to shrink back from the wall, shrink back into our comfort zones.  Many times we don't even know we have a wall in our way.  We just figure the timing is wrong or that God is not ready to do something through you yet.  Once you have hit up against this thing enough times, you realize "wait there is something here, that won't let me pass".  Normally, "the wall" does not just pop in one area of our lives concerning one thing, you will find that you hit it in every area of your life.  How big is that!!!  I mean big in a good way, because do you realize that if God makes this wall come crashing down what is going to come flooding into every area of your life.  Do your realize that this wall is the only thing s

The Wall in your way

Hitting walls in your life.  Many times the walls are within ourselves.  We are human and that's ok, God can help us with that.  Are there areas in your life where you feel like you want to move past a certain point but you never seem to be able to do it, and you shrink back into your comfort zone.  Times where you are moving, moving, moving in a certain direction than there is a certain something that enters the picture to challenge you and you shrink back.  Why do you think  you shrink back from certain things?  I've seen this in my own life, an avoidance going on.  A rigidness keeps you from being able to be flexible and just flow.  It feels like a wall you can't get past. There is a time that we arrive at in our lives, where God is ready to bring down every wall that has been holding you back.  Trust me, there is a time where God is ready for you to be able to flow freely in all that He has called you to be.  Trust me, there is a time for this.  When the time comes,

Mad for all the right reasons.....

Luke 14:26 New King James Version (NKJV) 26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. Lord, I finally get it!  I've prayed about this scripture for years.  But with the coaching of Minister Joye Davis, I have finally received what God is saying through this scripture.  It's because of what I've receive that I'm even back typing in this blog again.  I believe doors are opening right now because of this revelation.  Below is my testimony of this revelation: On day while my son was taking his nap, I was doing my devotional and he woke up.  I wanted to cry, because I wanted more time with God.  I was mad.  I didn't know if it was a healthy emotion.  But God showed me that it was.  He told me "That's good, that's how I want you to feel about your pursuit of me".  Then yesterday my son would not go down for a nap and I got in t
